We finished installation in the fall and used the room as late as December 23rd and as early as March which was never an option before. When the temperatures are mild (mid 30's) and the sky is sunny our elevated room reaches temperatures in the 70's and it feels wonderful to sit out there.
There are times when termperatures are mild that I use a small space heater for about an hour to help it reach 70 degrees when I don't want to wait for it to warm up naturally or we have very cloudy skies
It has been the best decision we have made in quite a while. I am sure I will need to learn how to keep it cool in the summer but we are so glad we did not enclose it with glass windows where you are always hot in the summer and cold in the winter and you cannot remove the windows to have 100% screens or open them to allow for 75% screens.
With the stay home stay safe order, this product has saved my sanity as it makes my great room brigher and allowed me to sit in a sunny space almost every day.
